On December 12th, the "2024 Global Open Innovation Forum", jointly organized by the Innovation Research Center of Tsinghua University and Plug & Play China, was grandly opened in Zhangjiang, Shanghai. Johan Claire, the chairperson of the ISO/TC279 International Standards Organization's Innovation Management Technical Committee, was invited to attend the conference.

Mr. Johan Claire introduced the relevant information about the Innovation Management Technology Committee of International Organization for Standardization's and the   Innovation Management Standardization Partnership Program (IMSPP). He emphasized that the IMSPP is crucial for the global dissemination of ISO 56000 series. Currently, with the joint promotion of IMSPP's Chinese operation entity, Beijing Guo Zhihe Innovation and Intellectual Property Academy, and its partners Zhongzhi (Beijing) Certification Co., Ltd. and Zhonggui (Beijing) Certification Co., Ltd., the appraisal project for innovation and intellectual property management based on ISO 56005 "Innovation Management - Intellectual Property Management Guidelines" has been implemented in nearly 800 organizations, achieving good results.

He stated that the time has come for the ISO 56001 "Innovation Management System Requirements" international standard. This is a game-changing standard that will completely revolutionize the dissemination of innovation management globally. The IMSPP's ISO 56001 international appraisal project is a powerful initiative to promote the implementation of the ISO 56001 international standard. He hopes that this project can support organizations maintaining and even improving their innovation management levels , creating more value for them.

It is reported that the ISO 56001 appraisal project of IMSPP will soon be launched in China. In the future, IMSPP will continue to closely cooperate with Chinese partners and provide high-quality services for Chinese organizations based on the ISO 56001 standard certification and international appraisal model.
